Chinese Ambassador in Kogi, seeks mutual cooperation

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Monday, received the Ambassador of the People Republic of China, His Excellency, Mr Cui Jian Chun, members of the China National Nuclear Corporation and other members of his delegation at the EXCO Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Lugard House, Lokoja.

The visit was centred around partnership in energy development, information and telecommunications, science and technology, education and agriculture.

Mr Cui noted that Kogi State was rich in human and natural resources, noting that the China National Nuclear Corporation was willing to partner with the state to tap the abundant resources endowed in the state for the benefit of the people.

Governor Bello had thanked the ambassador and his delegation while assuring them that the state was ready and eager to join hands with the People Republic of China for development.
