66-year-old thespian Tajudeen Oyewole, also known as Abija, has opened up about how the death of one of his wives and two of his children devastated him.

In a recent podcast, Abija narrated how his beloved wife died a few days before the Sallah festival while he was away on location.

“The death of my beloved wife and two kids was the saddest moment of my life,” he said.

Narrating the ordeal, the film star recounted, “The saddest moment of my life was when my beloved wife (Iya Biodun) died. It was about four days before the Sallah festival that year. In fact, I had bought a ram for the family to celebrate the Muslim festival when the sad incident happened.

“A few days before the festival, I had to travel from my house in Ibadan to participate in a stage play in Lalupon, Iwo, and some other towns. The show was scheduled for the evening, but due to the long distance, I had to embark on the journey in the morning. Before leaving the house, I prayed with my family and wished them a happy celebration in advance.”

Continuing, he said, “I was shocked to see my brother at the show. He told me that my wife was critically ill and that the doctor said she needed an operation to survive.

“I did not know that my wife had already passed away. I told him it was too late to travel back home that night, so I suggested we leave the location before daybreak the next day.

“Meanwhile, he had already announced the death of my wife to many of my colleagues at the event. When I got home, I met the corpse of my lovely wife.

“After my wife’s passing, I also lost my two beautiful daughters,” he said.

Abija believes the entire ordeal was a spiritual attack from his former boss, with whom he had a misunderstanding during that period.
