AFCON final:  Super Eagles dedication has left an indelible mark, says Remi Tinubu

First lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated the Super Eagles for a resilience performance at the just concluded 2024 AFCON, despite losing the battle to the host country, Cote d Ivoire.

Nigeria’s first lady in her message, said, “Congratulations to our Super Eagles! @NGSuperEagles Your journey to this point has been nothing short of inspiring, showcasing determination and skill that made the nation proud.

“Although the final outcome wasn’t in our favor, your dedication has left an indelible mark.

“Our dear Super Eagles, hold your heads high. Your efforts have united the nation, and we stand solidly with you. Your journey doesn’t end here, and we look forward to greater successes in the future. Thank you for representing Nigeria with pride and passion.  And congratulations to Cote d Ivoire.”
