All ongoing estates will be ready for completion in Q1 2024- OPIC MD

The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun and Managing Director, Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), Arc. Abiodun Fari- Arole, has said the various ongoing estate projects by the corporation in different locations across the state would be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
The OPIC boss revealed this at the Treasury Board meeting on the year 2024- 2025 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and the 2024 Budget, held at the Obas Complex Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.
Arc. Fari-Arole pointed out that the Kings Court Estate Phase II project along Presidential Boulevard, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and BOFT Apartment Warewa, along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, is nearing completion with necessary facilities of international standard.
According to him, the Corporation’s mission to provide standard and quality housing in a serene environment has been its guiding light.
He noted that the OPIC Kings Court Phase II comprising 42 apartments and 12 units semi- detached duplex is at 75 percent completion stage while the BOFT Apartment comprising 18 units of 3 bedroom apartments was also nearing completion.
‘’ I am assuring our subscribers that these estates will be fully delivered by the end of the first quarter of the year 2024″, said OPIC Boss.
Fari- Arole noted that the Corporation is making an effort to get more land in prime areas for the construction of its proposed housing project, saying the core focus of the agency is to reduce housing deficits in all ramifications.
He reaffirmed the commitment of OPIC to renovate its commercial building Plazas at Isheri and Ikeja, promising to unlock the agency’s potential in order to boost and surpass the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in the previous years.
