APC’s Folarin, Accord’s Adelabu lose polling units to Makinde

Oyo State governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Seyi Makinde has defeated both the candidate of the Accord Party, Chief Adebayo Adelabu and that of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Teslim Folarin in their respective polling units.

At the election held at Unit 10, ward 9, Ibadan South East, Accord Party polled 38 votes, while the PDP had 60 votes. Folarin polled 22 votes to emerge third in the polling unit. African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled a single vote while there were 18 invalid votes.

A total of 138 voters were accredited out of the unit that had 472 voters.

Also at Folarin’s polling unit, Makinde got 83 votes while his APC opponent got 45.

Makinde had comfortably won his own polling unit.
