BREAKING: Appeal Court reinstate Bwacha, Binani as APC guber candidates in Taraba, Adamawa
The Court of Appeal sitting in Yola has reinstated Emmanuel Bwacha and Aisha Binani as the governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba and Adamawa states.
The court gave its ruling on Thursday, setting aside the ruling of the High Court which nullified their elections in the party’s primaries.
In a unanimous decision, the three-man panel led by Justice Tani Yusuf Hassan set aside the judgment of the trial court and ruled in favour of Bwacha and Binani.
The Appeal Court ordered that their names be forwarded to the Independent National Electoral Commission as the APC governorship candidates for both states.
