Your imprints in Osun, Nigeria, standing test of time – Adeleke celebrates Aregbesola @67

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has celebrated the former Governor of the State, Rauf Aregbesola on his 67th birthday,
Adeleke described Aregbesola as a political colossus who is loved by the people of the state and Nigeria.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, at the birthday programme on Saturday, said those who are matter in Osun politics are with Aregbesola.
Adeleke who said that Aregbesola’s imprints in Osun and Nigeria are standing the test of time, described the former Interior Minister as an exceptional and charismatic leader worthy of emulation.
His words: “You are blessed. You only know a core politician with the calibre of people following him when he is not in power. For me to see the calibre of people that are here even without being in power at the moment, it means God is with you. It also shows that you are on ground.
“From Osogbo to Iwo, to Ejigbo, the crop of politicians with you are the core politicians of Osun. You are someone who always elevate your followers and today, you are reaping the fruits of that loving gesture of yours. I want to tell you something that whether somebody decides not to celebrate you, what you did in the history of Osun will continue to speak for you.
“I’m happy to inform you that the projects you initiated which were abandoned by your successor are being continued by our administration. You’re a wonderful person.
“On behalf of the Osun State Executive Council, we are celebrating you, our party, the PDP is celebrating you. Continue to do good to people. You are reaping the fruits of your legacy and impact in the lives of the people. I pray God to grant you many more years in good and sound health in service to Osun State.”
Also speaking at the event, a former Secretary to the Osun State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, under Aregbesola’s administration stated that he would rather quit politics than betraying the former governor of Osun State.
Adeoti who declared that Aregbesola financed and restructured progressive party and brought it back to Government after the 2003 debacle, stressed that the immediate past Minister of Interior earned his loyalty and support with his good character and love for the masses.
Also, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, declared that the history of his life is incomplete without mentioning Aregbesola.
Oba Abolarin, who disclosed that Aregbesola encouraged and supported his drive and passion to establish Abolarin College, Oke-Ila, where brilliant indigent students are being educated free of charge, added that Aregbesola appreciates quality ideas and progressive projects, describing him as reliable person.
