BREAKING: Container laden truck crushes two tricycles in Ikeja

An articulated truck with registration number MUS 41 XY laden with a 40feet container on Friday lost control and crushed two tricycles in Ikeja, Lagos.

WesternPost gathered that the accident occurred when the truck was ascending the hill inward Kudirat Abiola Way.

It was gathered that the truck suffered mechanical error which made it to roll back and crushed the two tricycles with registration number KRD 276QM and AAA 227QM.

No casualty was recorded as at the time of filing this report.

Confirming the incident, Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said that the agency was working tirelessly at the scene to clear the congestion caused by the accident.

Oke-Osanyintolu said reckless driving and over speeding are responsible for the incessant truck accidents in Lagos.
