BREAKING: APC declares its Ondo Governorship Primary inconclusive

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has declared the primary poll in Ondo inconclusive after receiving reports from the 203 Wards in 18 Local Government Areas of the State.

According to a statement signed by Usman Ododo, the chairman of the Ondo State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee and the governor of Kogi State, logistics issues caused the materials and staff to arrive later than expected, which prevented the activity from taking place in the affected local government.

Ododo said that starting at “noon on Sunday, April 21, 2024,” the primary election will take place in each of the 13 Wards of Okitipupa Local Government, with a total of 9,515 validated registered voters. Following this, “the final collation of the results will be done” and the winner will be declared.
