BREAKING: Appeal Court affirms Fubara’s election as Rivers governor

The Appeal Court sitting in Lagos State has upheld the election of Siminalayi Fubara as the Governor of Rivers State.

The appellate court on Tuesday, dismissed the petition filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Patrick Tonye-Cole, challenging the declaration of Fubara as the winner of the March 18 governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
