Tinubu seeks to meet with NASS lawmakers on March 16

All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has written to the members of the party caucus in the House of Representatives requesting a meeting with them on March 16, 2022.

In a letter he personally signed and addressed to the party caucus in the lower chamber, Asiwaju noted that the national assembly members are aware he is running to be the next President of Nigeria and he has decided to meet the APC caucus in the House to inform them as an important and unique federal parliamentarians and true representatives of the people.

He said his education, knowledge, professional experience as well as his struggles for democracy and termination of military rule in Nigeria are what would put him in good stead in the race.

Asiwaju Tinubu was a senator in 1992 on the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP) and two term governor of Lagos from 1999-2007.

He spoke of his role in bringing progressive forces across the country together to form an alliance that made history by unseating an incumbent President in Nigeria.

He proposes the meeting with the House caucus to hold at LADI Kwali Hall of Sheraton Hotels and Suites in Abuja.
