Breaking: Bisi Egbeyemi, ex-Ekiti deputy governor dies at 79
The immediate past deputy governor of Ekiti State, Bisi Egbeyemi, is dead.
Egbeyemi reportedly died in the early hours of Saturday at a popular Multisystem Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
He died at the age of 79.
Born on May 8, 1944, Egbeyemi, was a lawyer and politician.
He served as deputy to former Governor Kayode Fayemi from 2018 to 2022.
Although, news of his sudden demise has not been made public, but a close ally who worked with him as one of his principal officers when he served as deputy governor, but who did not want his name mentioned, confirmed he died on Saturday morning.
