The former Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Adeola Jokomba, on Sunday confirmed as the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
He replaced his kinsman from Ikorodu and former lawmaker Hon. Olanrewaju Sunmi Odesanya, who was recently appointed by the governor as Special Adviser, DAWN Commission & South West Integration
WesternPost learnt that Jokomba’s appointment was confirmed by the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision making body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.
After serving as a Council Chairman for two term, Jokomba aspired to represent Ikorodu Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly but could not get the party’s ticket.
Jokomba was a two-term Chairman of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area.
He was the Vice Chairman, Conference 57 Lagos State, an association of Council Chairmen in Lagos State.
The new Lagos APC Secretary holds Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Care from Thames Valley University.
He went on to obtain Master in Clinical Psychology from Western Ville University, San Diego, California USA.
Currently, a Doctorate student in Social Work in the Lagos State University, Ojo.
