BREAKING: Minimum wage talks resume in Abuja

The Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage resumed its meeting on Wednesday, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja to continue debating a new minimum pay for workers.

The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu; the Minister of Labour, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha; and delegates of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in addition to the Federation’s Head of Service, represented the Federal Government.

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero and the President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Festus Osifo, were there for Organized Labour.

The Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Abdulateef Shittu was also at the meeting.
