BREAKING: Senator Ningi resigns as NSF Chairman after Senate suspension

Bauchi Central Senator, Abdul Ningi, has tendered his resignation as the chairman of the Northern Senators Forum.

This development have followed his suspension earlier today being Tuesday, by the Senate for alleging that the 2024 budget was padded with over N3 Trillion.

The Nigerian Senate in a session today witnessed a litany of rowdiness, with several allegations making the rounds in the Red Chamber, as another senator from Cross River North, Jarigbe Jarigbe alleged that some lawmakers got as much as N500 Million from the 2024 budget.
