BREAKING: Supreme Court dismisses PDP’s case challenging Tinubu, Shettima’s candidacy

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) challenging the candidacy of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.

The Supreme Court upheld the ruling of the Court of Appeal that the PDP does not have a locus standi to file the case.

The PDP had accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of double nomination, saying that Shettima was yet to withdraw his nomination as a senatorial candidate when his name was submitted as Tinubu’s running mate.
