Davido launches faculty of music & arts in Uganda University

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido has launched the first music and arts faculty in Africa.
The ‘Unavailable’ singer was recently in Uganda where launched the faculty of music and arts at the International University of East Africa, in Kampala, Uganda.
The launch was held on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
According to further reports, the faculty will also have new media and entertainment departments.
An elated Davido couldn’t hide his joy at launching the faculty.
The music star graduated from Babcock University, where the music department was created when he joined the private tertiary institution. He graduated in July 2015, with a degree in music after his father paid the university to start a music department for an inaugural class of one student.
The International University of East Africa is a private non-profit institution in Uganda. It is also a chartered University by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education.
