Davido vows to protect Tiwa Savage, calls her ‘sister for life’

Award-winning Afrobeats singer and producer, Davido, has described Tiwa Savage as his sister for life, vowing to keep her safe from any harm.
This statement comes a few years after their fallout on social media.
In an interview on The Breakfast Club, Davido emphasized his close bond with Savage, likening their disagreements to typical sibling squabbles.
“We used to stay in the same house. The situation with Tiwa was personal; she was a good friend to Sophia Momodu. Tiwa Savage is my sister for life. She changed the game for females.
“I love her and her child, we are family. Our fight is just like a brother and sister’s fight. She did reach out. I will never allow anything to happen to her,” Davido shared.
The tension between them began when Tiwa posted a photo with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s former love partner, leading to an alleged exchange of messages from Davido’s management.
This resulted in both artists unfollowing each other on Instagram.
