Deputy Senate President appoints Ajimobi’s son, Idris, as Special Adviser

The Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, has announced a series of appointments to strengthen his office and advance his legislative agenda.

Among the appointees is Idris Abiola Ajimobi, the son of the late Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who has been appointed as a Special Adviser on Special Duties.

The other newly appointed aides are Prof Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi (Chief of Staff), Prof Bashir Muhammad Fagge (Special Adviser for Policy and Monitoring), Ismail Mudashir (Special Adviser Media and Publicity), Yusuf Aliyu Tumfafi (Special Adviser Political),
Mrs. Ngozi Ndawi Nkemdirim (Special Adviser Administration), Shitu Madaki Kunchi (Special Assistant Media & Publicity).

Each of the appointees brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, and Senator Barau expressed confidence in their ability to contribute significantly to his office’s functions.
