DSS arrests ex-Oyo PMS Chairman, Auxiliary, days after granting interview

The former chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), Mukaila Lamidi, commonly known as Auxiliary, was taken from his home this afternoon by disguised security personnel who appeared to be Department of State Services (DSS) employees.

In a statement to Crest FM radio, his family members confirmed the arrest.

His recent arrest follows a recent interview he granted to a radio station where he accused one Otunba Seye, a close ally of Governor Seyi Makinde of being behind his travails and fallout with the governor.

Recall that Auxiliary was previously listed as wanted by the Oyo State Police Command for a number of offences, including attempted murder and trading in weapons.

In another raid on his residence, the authorities seized multiple firearms and ammo.

Auxiliary’s arrest comes after he was sacked as PMS boss in June 2023 by Governor Seyi Makinde.
