Easter: Southern Senators’ Forum extends greetings, commends Executive, Legislature

The Southern Senators’ Forum, under the leadership of Senator Tokunbo Abiru, has sent warm wishes to Nigerians as they celebrate Easter.

In a message jointly signed by Senators Abiru and Asuquo Ekpeyong, the Forum’s Chairman and Publicity Secretary respectively, the forum emphasized the significance of Easter as a time for reflection, renewal, and rejoicing.

The statement urged Nigerians to embrace values of unity, compassion, sacrifice, and solidarity, especially during these challenging times.

They also encouraged citizens to renew their patriotism and commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

The Senators further commended President Bola Tinubu, and Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio, for their dedication and leadership in advancing the nation’s development agenda.

Hailing the collaborative efforts between the Executive and Legislature, the forum stated it acknowledged the visionary initiatives put forward by the duo which has contributed significantly to the progress and prosperity of the country.
