Ekiti State commissions ultramodern bus terminal in Ado

The Ekiti State Government has commissioned the recently completed ultramodern bus terminal in Ado Ekiti.

immediate past governor of the state Kayode Fayemi, performed the commissioning exercise.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, expressed delight at being able to complete the project which was started by his predecessor.

He also said the bus terminal represents a strategic investment in our transportation infrastructure as it is a catalyst for economic growth.

He also urged drivers and everyone who will make use of the terminal to “make adequate use of the facility”.

Oyebanji wrote on Facebook, “The Ado Ekiti Ultra Modern Bus Terminal was commissioned with much funfair today by my predecessor in office, H.E. Dr. John Kayode Fayemi.

“The ultra modern edifice was started by Dr Fayemi administration in 2021 as one of the legacy projects. It was completed by my administration in line with our continuity and shared prosperity mantra.

“I am particularly exited to have our leader and immediate past Governor of the state around to commission the project which is design as part of the urban renewal project of our administration.

“The bus terminal represents a strategic investment in our transportation infrastructure as it is a catalyst for economic growth. This is also a testament to our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and making Ekiti State a hub of progress and opportunity, alleviating traffic congestion around business district.

“I want to appreciate everyone who contributed to the realization of this project, I also urge our drivers and transport owners who are the main users of the bus terminal to make adequate use of the facility. I look forward to the positive impact the bus terminal will bring to our dear state.”
