Elegushi announces Oro festival in Ikate two days to guber election
The Elegushi-in-Council has announced a dusk-to-dawn restriction of movement in Ikate two days to the governorship and state assembly elections.
The restriction of movement is as a result of the Oro Festival.
This was contained in a statement by the Elegushi-in-Council on Wednesday.
The statement reads: “The annual Oro Festival will hold in Ikate Elegushi Kingdom from 15th-17th March 2023.
“In this vein, there will be restriction of movement in and around Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom from 12midnight to 5am each day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
“Residents,passersby and visitors are strongly advised to remain indoors during this time.
“The Elegushi-in-Council regrets any inconvenience this may have caused.”
