Ex-Lagos lawmaker picks Reps nomination form

A former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Oladipo Olorunrinu, has picked his nomination form to contest for Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in 2023 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Olorunrinu who represented Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 1 between 2015 and 2019 in the House of Assembly, recently withdrew a lawsuit against the APC over substitution of his name after winning the party’s local government election primaries held in May 2021.

The former lawmaker made known the purchase of his nomination form through his social media handle as he posted pictures of himself displaying the form along with some of his supporters at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Olorunrinu said: “I just obtained my nomination form to contest for House of Representatives in 2023 on the platform of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC). This is the beginning of a better deal for the people of Amuwo-Odofin federal constituency. Be rest assured, more dividends of democracy would be enjoyed by my people than what I offered them in Lagos Assembly. In God, we trust”.
