Ghana’s Black Stars play better than Super Eagles, says Fireboy

Nigerian rising superstar Fireboy DML has expressed the opinion that Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, are better than Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

Fireboy explained that although the Super Eagles have more individual talent, the Black Stars are a stronger team overall, with brilliant individuals.

He said, “Right now, Ghana is a better team [than Nigeria’s Super Eagles]. Individually, we [Nigerians] are better. But as a team, Ghana is better.

“For some reason, we’ve not been able to combine the brilliance of each player to form a solid team. I think it will take time. We have a lot of talent, but we’ve not been able to utilize it effectively.

“Unlike Ghana, we don’t have a strong midfield. Take Thomas Partey, for example—alone, we don’t have a midfield that can compete with that.

“You saw how Partey performed against Real Madrid during Arsenal’s Champions League clash. We don’t have that.”
