‘I’m ready to embrace polygamy’ – Toke Makinwa
Popular media personality Toke Makinwa has revealed that she wouldn’t mind being a wife in a polygamous home.
Makinwa made this known in the latest episode of her podcast, Toke Moments.
The TV host said, “At this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to marry again—as a second, third, fourth, or even fifth wife—I’ll take it.”
Makinwa was previously married to Maje Ayida, but the marriage ended in 2017 following allegations of infidelity.
Reflecting on her life after turning 40, she said she had no regrets about leaving her first marriage.
“I am 40, I am single, and I am childless. I said it, and I didn’t die,” she stated. “I used to feel ashamed… But honestly, if I had gotten married again, I would have been divorced again. The lessons don’t stop.”
