JUST IN: Tinubu returns to Abuja after long trip to Netherlands, Saudi Arabia

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after his trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

The President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by 3 a.m on Wednesday morning.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga had on Tuesday revealed via a post on his X account that the president plan to return on Wednesday after his two weeks diplomatic trip to Nigeria.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides,  will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.

The president had on April 23 departed Abuja for the Kingdom of the Netherlands on an official visit.

On the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, President Tinubu engaged in high-level discussions with the Prime Minister, as well as held separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom.

Similarly, the president also attended the Special World Economic Forum held in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia.
