KWASIEC fixes sept 21 for local govt election

Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) has fixed September 21 for the conduct of Local government elections across the 16 local councils.

A statement signed the Commission’s Chairman, Okanla Baba on Thursday in Ilorin, said “Arrangements are being put in place to make this happen within the set date. We will give further breakdown on the election Time Table of activities soon, all things being equal.

“We urge all stakeholders to follow our public communications, updates, and get ready for the elections within the time frame”.
