Lagos APC: Justice Forum appoints Faleke as Coordinator

A political caucus in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos Chapter, Justice Forum, has appointed the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Faleke as its Coordinator.

Justice Forum is one of the major caucuses in Lagos APC that has produced governors like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ( now President Bola Tinubu) and Former Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola and currently produced the incumbent Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.

It was gathered that the Forum named Faleke as Coordinator in its last meeting.

Faleke is the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance. He was the Secretary of the now defunct All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC).

He was two time Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area and was the pioneer Chairman of Confidence 57, umbrella organization for council Chairmen in Lagos State.

A staunch Chieftain of APC and the Justice Forum who preferred not to be named, told Westernpost that the appointment of Faleke is to check the perceived excesses of the Cardinal James Odunmbaku (Baba Eto) led Mandate Movement in the state.

The party Chieftain further said Faleke is expected to use his political experience and closeness to President Bola Tinubu to facilitate more political opportunities for the caucus, most especially as the Lagos local government election draws nearer.
