Lagos Sports Commission to enhance athlete payments, partners Parallex Bank
The Lagos State Sports Commission has entered into a strategic partnership with Parallex Bank. This collaboration aims to revolutionize payment solutions for athletes while fostering long-term success in sports across the state.
The announcement was made during a meeting held at Parallex Bank’s Head Office in Victoria Island, where the Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Lekan Fatodu, led the state’s delegation.
Fatodu emphasized that the partnership is a crucial step in aligning with the state’s agenda to create sustainable opportunities in sports, empowering athletes with the necessary resources and support to achieve excellence.
“This engagement is pivotal in driving our state’s agenda to create sustainable opportunities in sports. By providing athletes with prompt, secure, and efficient payment systems, we are not only ensuring their welfare but also investing in the next generation of sports talent in Lagos,” Fatodu stated.
He highlighted that the collaboration with Parallex Bank would lead to a more efficient and transparent financial system within the sports sector, ensuring that athletes receive their payments promptly. This, he said, aligns with the broader goal of promoting the long-term success of athletes both on and off the field, ultimately improving the sporting ecosystem in Lagos.
