LASTMA rescues driver as truck falls on car in Lagos

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Sunday rescued an unconscious accident victim on top Cele-Egbe Bridge inward Ikotun in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the rescued victim was the driver of a truck involved in an accident on the bridge.

It was learnt that a truck with with registration number FFF 996 XB, loaded with biscuits had fallen on an unregistered blue Toyota Camry.

Confirming the incident, LASTMA’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Adebayo Taofiq, in a statement made available to WesternPost, said that the accident was serious as the side of the truck fell on the Camry car.

Taofiq added that LASTMA officials handed over the unconscious driver to policemen from Ejigbo Divisional Police Headquarters.
