Lawmaker distributes 14000 bags of grains, beans in Ogun

…gives N10m to 100 constituents

The lawmaker representing Ijebu North/ Ijebu East /Ogun Water-side in the House of Representatives, Hon. Joseph Adegbesan has distributed 7000 6.5kg bags of rice and 7000 bags of beans to constituents.

Aadegbesan also gave 100 constituents a total of N10 million as business grants.

The lawmaker said the gifts were palliatives to cushion the effect of economic hardship caused by the fuel subsidy removal.

The distribution was witnessed by the representatives of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.

Adegbesan said the emergency supply of palliative was in conjunction with Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security as directed by President Bola Tinubu.

In his word” we are giving our people the Palliatives to cushion the effect of economic hardship and not only that we are giving over 100 indigents a grant of 100,000 each to support their business” He said.

Dignitaries present at the event includes; Secretary to State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, Chairman Ijebu North Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Adesanya, APC Party Leaders, traditional fathers and the market leaders.
