LP renames Obidient Directorate

The Labour Party has announced the renaming of its Directorate of Obidient Affairs to the Directorate of Mobilisation and Integration.

In a statement issued on Thursday by the National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, the Labour Party urged its members and the general public to take note of the change.

This decision comes amid recent controversies surrounding the original name.

The inauguration of the newly named directorate is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10 am.

The event will take place at the party’s National Secretariat in Utako, Abuja.
