NDLEA’s treatment of ‘my brothers’ disgusting – Naira Marley

Musician, Naira Marley, has condemned the arrest of fellow singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Naira Marley who described the two musicians signed under his label, Marlian Music, as his brothers, said their treatment by the NDLEA was disgusting.

Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrestd by the NDLEA during a raid on Thursday.

According to NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, drugs were found on the arrested singers.

“Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Bịara Market boys stay. Some quantities of Cannabis sativa and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car,” he told TheCable Lifestyle.

“Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males.”

Writing on Twitter on Friday, Naira Marley said he was “urgently returning to Lagos” as a result of the arrest.

“NDLEA has released Mohbad after physically assaulting him. Zinoleesky is still in custody.

“The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to Lagos now now now. What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. The injustice is unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First me now my artists. Free Zinoleesky. Free Shubomi. Free micee and Dosky,” he wrote on Twitter.
