Obi Emenloye mourns friend

Nigerian filmmaker Obi Emenloye is mourning.

The director of ‘The Mirror Boy,’ expressed his grief in the early morning of Tuesday, January 23, 2024, after losing one of his dear friends known as Rommy.

“Good night dear Rommy.”

With a terse emotional caption, Emenloye expressed gratitude to his late friend for being his friend and brother for 37 whole years.

“Thank you for 37 years of friendship and brotherhood. Rest in peace.”

56-year-old Emenloye is known for directing award-winning films such as ‘Last Flight to Abuja,’ ‘The Mirror Boy,’ and ‘Onye Ozi.’
