Ogun: So-Safe Corps nab suspected cultist, recover pistol

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, (So-Safe Corps) has arrested Kabiru Adedotun, popularly known K.B, a suspected Eye Confraternity cultist terrorizing Ogun communities.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

Yusuf disclosed that the tactical squad of the Corps was on routine patrol when it got information which led to the arrest of the suspect.

“He was promptly arrested and a cut-to-size pistol was recovered from him in his room at Totoro, Abeokuta, in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun

“At the time of the arrest, the suspect confessed to have involved in a number of criminal activities in the state.

“During preliminary investigation of the act, the suspected cultist mentioned some names who are members of his gang.

“The suspect and the exhibit recovered from him have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Monitoring Unit, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for onward transfer to State Police Headquarters, Eleweran for further investigation and likely prosecution”, said the statement.
