Okada rider found dead a week after going missing in Osun

An Okada rider, Aina Ezekiel Oluwasegun has been found dead after being declared for more than a week.

Aina was said to have been missing on Friday May 12, 2023 in Owode Ede, Ede North Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Osun State.

According to one of his colleagues, the deceased was hired by a passenger on Friday evening to an undisclosed destination and never returned.

After days of searching, his lifeless body was found on Saturday, May 20, 2023, inside an uncompleted building located at Oke-Ayo area, Owode Ede.

It was gathered that he was found with bruises and wound on his head.

The perpetrators of the murder absconded with his motorcycle.

Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola confirmed that the decomposing body of Aina was discovered on Saturday and was evacuated by the police.

Opalola hinted that the police have commenced investigation to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance and death of the deceased.
