Ondo 2024: Mammoth crowd welcome Odimayo to Idanre LG
As the 2024 All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries in Ondo State approaches, an aspirant, Omo’oba Jimi Odimayo has taken his consultation tour to Idanre local government where he met with the APC executives and his thousands of supporters in the local government.
Addressing the party chieftains, Odimayo commended them for their unwavering support in advancing his gubernatorial aspiration.
The financial expert turned politician reassured party leaders and supporters of harnessing Idanre’s tourist potential, envisioning sustainable opportunities that would contribute to economic upliftment for both Idanre and Ondo state.
He expressed confidence in securing the APC ticket in the forthcoming primaries, surpassing other aspirants in the competition.
During the meeting, Mr. Olumide Adeuti, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Idanre local government, along with Mrs. Ronke Akindolire, the APC Central Senatorial Women Leader, and other prominent party chieftains, offered prayers for the successful emergence of Omo’oba Jimi Odimayo as the APC flagbearer in the upcoming primary election while commending him for his relentless efforts in mobilizing support from party faithful across the state.
In the meeting were notable party chieftains, Chief Sunday Ajoniloju, Hon. Segun Adeoye, women leaders, youth across the ten wards (10) in Idanre Local Government, team of young women in politics for Omo’oba Jimi Odimayo among others while in the entourage of the incoming governor were, Hon. Stephen Olowodasa, the former youth leader of APC in Ondo State, Barr. Olutayo Babalayo, Hon. Kayode Abiodun, and Hon. Mrs. Omowumi Adenipekun amongst others.
