Onyeka Onwenu goes home today

The remains of singer, actor, and politician Onyeka Onwenu will be interred in Lagos today.
According to a burial program released by her family, the “Elegant Stallion” will be buried in a private vault at the Ikoyi Cemetery after a funeral service at the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos.
Onyeka slumped and died on July 30, 2024, after performing at a birthday party.
Originally from Arondizuogu in Imo State, Onyeka is survived by her two sons and other family members. She was 72 years old.
