OSUN DECIDES: Full results of governorship election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) early on Sunday declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.
R eturning officer for the election, who is the Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe said Adeleke polled a total of votes of 403,371 to defeat the incumbent governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who got 375,027
The candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Kehinde Atanda scored 10,104 to finish third in the election.
There were reported infractions in some polling units which made INEC to cancel the results in the areas affected.
Some polling units reportedly recorded over voting, while suspected political thugs invaded PU and carted away ballot boxes, injuring some politicians, including a corps member in the process.
