Osun monarch, Olojo of Ojo, passes Away at 77

The Olojo of Ojo in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba (Alh.) Olayinka Gbolagade Tiamiyu II JP, has passed away.
The revered monarch joined his ancestors late Sunday, marking the end of a reign characterized by peace and development in his community.
Reacting to the news, Bamidele Salam, the lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency at the National Assembly, extended his condolences to the people of Ojo.
He described the late Oba as a man of great character and stature, whose legacy of service and dedication would not be forgotten.
“Oba Olayinka Gbolagade Tiamiyu II was a father, a guide, and a pillar of strength to his people. His reign brought peace and prosperity, and his wisdom will be dearly missed,” Salam said.
The lawmaker also prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the departed king Al-Janah Firdaous and provide comfort to his family and the people of Ojo.
