Fuji musicians Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and Taye Currency have sheathed their swords and urged fans to embrace peace and harmony.

The two finally settled their dispute over supremacy in the music world.

The reconciliation, as seen in a short video, reportedly occurred in Mecca, Saudi Arabia during the ongoing lesser Hajj, also known as Umrah 2025.

The two Fuji stars were seen in the video sitting closely and engaging in a discussion.

In 2024, what was once a mentor-protégé relationship devolved into a rift with the duo throwing subtle and overt jabs at each other on social media.

According to multiple reports, Taye Currency fired the first salvo in October 2024 when he disapproved of fans referring to Pasuma as his industry ‘father’, emphasizing that Pasuma is more like an elder brother and cannot father him.

The Ibadan-based singer’s statements ignited a flurry of discussions online, with Pasuma’s fans criticizing him.

Following the backlash, Taye Currency, in a viral video, expressed regret for any offense caused by his statement and apologized to Pasuma.
