PHOTO NEWS: Atiku meets Rivers State PDP stakeholders in Abuja
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar met with the party’s leaders from Rivers State in Abuja on Sunday ahead of this weekend’s election.
At the meeting were his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, former national chairman, Uche Secondus among others.
Writing about the meeting on his social media handle early Monday morning, Atiku said: “Last night, I met with Rivers State stakeholders in Abuja. I discussed with them why the Rivers recovery rally was shelved: My ambition is not worth the blood of anyone. I assured them that Rivers State and its people will remain dear to my heart long after the elections.”
