President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria following the unexpected resignation of the former CJN, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad.
Justice Muhammad resigned on Sunday citing ill-health. The Acting CJN is the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court.
The ceremony, which took place at the Council Chamber was attended by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Attorney General of the Federation and Justices of Supreme Court, among others
