PHOTO NEWS: Chinese Ambassador fetes Femi Adesina in Abuja

Ambassador of China to Nigeria, Cui Jianchun Friday hosted former Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina to a luncheon at a Chinese restaurant in Abuja to bid him goodbye after successfully serving the country.

The luncheon also had in attendance the Deputy Ambassador, Zhang Yi and Head of Politics and Publicity Section of the embassy, Du Sheng.

Writing on his Facebook page about the time out with the Chinese diplomat, Adesina wrote:

“What better place to be hosted to lunch in Abuja by the Chinese Ambassador than a top brow Chinese restaurant in the Federal Capital City?

“Ambassador CUI Jianchun, his Deputy, Zhang Yi, and Du Sheng of the Politics and Publicity section, felt I needed to be feted with family, for the role I played in deepening Nigeria/China relations while I served for 8 years as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari.

“It was a pleasant afternoon out, filled with memories of visits to the People’s Republic of China, a great country lending Nigeria some muscle. May Nigeria get there. Amen.”
