PHOTO NEWS: Sanwo-Olu hosts Soyinka to special 90th birthday dinner
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted a special reception in honour of Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka’s 90th birthday at the Government House, Marina, Lagos.
The night was an evening of pomp, art, poetry and music as Kongi beamed with excitement and joy as different groups of artistes took turns to perform in tribute to the wordsmith, civil rights activist and teacher.
In attendance at the special dinner were Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde and other senior government officials.
