PHOTOS: Nigeria Data Protection Commission signs MoU with China’s Huawei Technologies
On the 26th of June 2024, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission held a High-Level Meeting with the top executives of Huawei Technologies, China which culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between both parties.
The high-level meeting featured discussions on data security, digital sovereignty, and governance of cross border data flows to promote openness and transparency. The meeting concluded with an MOU signing, a commitment to capacity building and future cooperation.
