Photos: When Oluwo of Iwo observed iftar with President Tinubu

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, on Thursday joined other prominent traditional rulers and religious leaders to observe the annual Ramadan iftar (breaking of fast) with President Bola Tinubu.


The traditional iftar with the President was held at Banquet Hall of the State House Presidential Villa in Abuja.


There were also top Islamic and Christian clerics at the event attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.Top traditional rulers present at the occasion included the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, and Oniru of Iruland, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, and Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye 11.


Speaking with Western Post after the iftar with the President, Oluwo said he had just observed the breaking of fast with the Great African Leader and best Nigerian President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He described President Tinubu as the hope and solution to our problems in Nigeria and Black Africa.


Oluwo said, “If you are not part of the present government, you need to have a rethink and do everything possible to be part of this great new history that Nigeria is writing through the great Leadership of our President, which is unequaled in the history of this beautiful nation called Nigeria.”
