Police arrest power cables vandal in Lagos

Policemen under the Ikeja division have apprehended one Parfa Samson, alleged to have vandalized vital power cables in the area.

Lagos State force Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this via his official X handle on Tuesday.

According to him, while the suspect was apprehended, his partner had absconded upon sighting the law enforcement officers.

Hundeyin added that the Police was investigating the matter.

He wrote, “At about 3am, patrol officers from Ikeja Division arrested one Parfa Samson aged 38 along Works Yard Road with about 35 yards of vandalized cable while his partner took to his heels with their cutting tools. Investigation is ongoing.”
