Pro-Fubara Rivers Assembly confirm Iboroma as commissioner

Dagogo Israel Iboroma, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, has been vetted and confirmed as the Commissioner-designate by the Rivers State House of Assembly side that supports Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Dagogo Iboroma, the commissioner-nominee, was vetted and approved by Speaker Victor Oko Jumbo on Monday in the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt.

Governor Fubara is expected to swear Iboroma in as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, the position vacated by Professor Zaccheus Adangor SAN.

Two weeks ago, Adangor submitted his resignation following his redeployment to the Governor’s office in the Ministry of Special Duties.

There are indications that the three-man House of Assembly chaired by Victor Oko Jumbo will screen more Commissioner nominees into the State cabinet.
